Le Conseil supérieur de la magistrature prend acte du déclenchement d’une enquête administrative à la suite du dépôt du rapport de l’inspection de fonctionnement menée par l’Inspection générale de la justice sur une enquête conduite par le parquet national financier. Il réagit à la publication par voie de communiqué de presse visant nominativement trois magistrats, sans même attendre le résultat de cette enquête.

The High Council for the Judiciary takes note of the launch of an administrative enquiry following the submission of the report by the General Inspectorate of Justice (“Inspection Générale de la Justice”) on an investigation led by the national financial prosecution service. It notes that this information was given in a press release and targeted three prosecutors by name, without even waiting for the outcome of this investigation.

Of course, without pronouncing on the existence of breaches of a disciplinary nature that may be found, the High Council for the Judiciary will be particularly vigilant and will fully play its role in guaranteeing the independence of the judiciary, in accordance with the terms of Article 64 of the Constitution.
